Mr. Isaac “Ike” Woods, Jr. is a 1970 graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School.

While a student at Miami Jackson, he was member of the Interact Club, Drama Club, Senior Band, Crysalic Club and Photography Club. He was selected by his Senior Class as a Senior Superlative – Friendliest (Male).

He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business from Miami-Dade Jr. College (name at that time) and a Bachelor’s Degree from Barry University.

Mr. Woods was employed with the American Express Corporation for 35 years. He served in the positions of Customer Service Representative, Executive Assistant and Credit Analyst.

In addition to his exemplary career with the American Express Corporation, he also owned and operated “Photos by Ike”, a professional photography business. For over 30 years, he has been dedicated to his business. As a testimony to his skills, he earned a Certificate of Photography from the University of Miami. He served as “Press Photographer” for President Bill Clinton’s Presidential Visit to Miami-Dade College in 1996 and “Press Photographer” for President Barack Obama’s Presidential Visit to the City of Miami, in 2009. He has served as the “Official Photographer” for Larry Little Legends Golf Classic, The Links Incorporated, Greater Miami (FL) Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dade County Alumnae Chapter and NAACP, Miami-Dade Branch and, in some, continues to serve.

For his professionalism in photography, Mr. Woods has been recognized by the MiamiDade County, Office of the Mayor and Board of County Commissioners – Isaac “Ike” Woods, Jr. Day, April 13, 2001. He also received a Carrie P. Meek, Member of Congress, Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, March 29, 2002.

Mr. Woods is a consistent contributor to community programs. Such as, Big Brother/ Big Sister, Kids in Crisis, Carol City Park – Lady Ravens (Cheerleaders), Bunche Park -05 lb. Football Team, just to name a few.

He currently serves as President of the Miami Jackson Alumni Class of 1970.
