Dr. Rubin Thompson

Mr. Rubin Thompson, Doctor of Chiropractic, is a 1974 graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School.

While a student at Miami Jackson, he was President of the Future Scientist of America Club, a drummer in the marching band, and a “Sweetheart” of the Jr. Miss club.

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Bethune-Cookman College (now University) and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Thompson currently is a practicing Chiropractor in Miami. He previously served in his field in the state of Louisiana and Nassau, Bahamas.

In his career, he has developed a treatment to lessen the severity of asthma, flu, and sinus conditions. His research projects include wound healing before amputation, Psoriasis, food allergies, before and after stroke rehabilitation, torticollis and tortipelvis, fingernails, toenails, and tongue abnormalities, Scoliosis, and partially torn Achilles rehab without surgery, just to name a few.

He has received special recognitions from The Clinic Masters–Prix De Service Distinguished Humanitarian, Northside Optimist Club–Certificate of Appreciation, American Chiropractic Association–Valuable Contributions to the Region, Certificate of Appreciation, Bethune-Cookman College (now University) and Miami Jackson Senior High, Outstanding Support to the Academy of Health Science, Certificate of
Appreciation.
