Entrepreneurship

Mrs. Tammi King-Miller is a 1979 graduate of Miami Jackson Senior High School.

While a student at Miami Jackson, she enrolled in the OJT (On the Job Training) Program and was gainfully employed. This laid the foundation for her subsequent desire to become an entrepreneur.

She attended Miami-Dade College where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Management.
Mrs. King-Miller was employed with the City of Miami for 27 years as an Administrative Assistant. She retired in 2006. After retirement, she began her first business 2007, in the field of accounting. It was called the Tax Doctor. Her success at the first office, led her to open a second office, three (3) years ago in the Fort Lauderdale area.

She is quietly active in the community and does not seek accolades. She has donated time, products, and monies to various Optimist football teams in the City, churches, and Girl Scouts of America. Recently, she gave financial support to hurricane victims in South Miami and Puerto Rico.

She gives back to the community free from her heart.
